For a long time I've been a great advocate for high street lingerie... think of me as the Gok Wan of the lingerie blog world (but really I'd rather you didn't). It's reasonably priced, okay quality for what you are paying for and also very fashionable. But what happens when the high street brands begin to "take inspiration" from our favourite lingerie brands, who put so much time into designing a garment?

I know there are probably a few of you sitting there thinking "eh? What kind of crazy bitch buys their undies on ebay?" well I'm a crazy bitch and you'll thank me later for it. Ebay is a wondrous site where you can find pieces for low or discounted prices, pieces that have gone out of season or are sold out, and even versions of designs you like but are out of reach, all at the click of the button and the majority of bits I have come across have been unworn and with tags. Do you miss this Bordelle limited edition Angela cage dress? Well here's a taste of what's to come.The reason I'm saying all this in great confidence is because I got this beautiful Bordelle bra for only £30, brand new, perfect. I own a lot of leopard print clothes but was recently shocked and appalled to realise that the only leopard lingerie I own is a pair of black mesh panties with a tiny leopard print bow on the front. This is not good enough. My sincere apologies to the lingerie gods and goddesses. To make up for it, this weeks "Nifty, Thrifty & Under £50" is dedicated to that big sexy cat that inspires such beautiful clothing.

There is something so elegant about the bodysuit - maybe it's because it reminds us of our old dance classes with white tights and cute little ballet shoes! The thing about the one-piece is that not only is it stylish and sexy, it also helps to give you a streamlined effect and won't come untucked if you're wearing it underneath something, unlike other shirts! As underwear it is entirely sexy - just one item of clothing to take off and bare all! And with all over mesh and lace designs it's super sexy to see the slightly covered up sexy bits whilst also leaving your partner wanting to rip it off you! But bodysuits becoming more and more popular, there are many available which you can wear as both underwear and outerwear! It has been so hard picking just three of my favourites!
